Another Watery Wednesday, another beautiful day, another gorgeous water scene to photograph, to share, to talk about and just enjoy!

This picture was taken at Picture Rocks, Upper Peninsula.
Having Jesus is the most beautiful thing in my life; having a husband is the most beautiful gift the Lord ever gave to me. Two boys were added to the blessing and life became more beautiful and wonderful!

This is our Matthew Ryan; he is is now 4 years and 3 months old. He calls himself Kuya Matt, Spiderman, the baseball player, little Mr Yothers, daddy's best friend and daddy's little boy, but for me he is always my little pumpkin. I know him better than anyone in this world. He is a super- active guy, a very athletic and happy boy. He can make and does some things that would drive you nuts, but he is the sweetest. He is also a tease. He would only say the words, " I love you, Mommy," when he goes to sleep at night or takes his nap in the afternoon. Sometimes when I ask him if he loves me, he says, "No, I don't; I don't even like you." Yeah, right! His favorite junk food is chocolates and candy canes. We were trying to avoid buying those things, but this time of the year it is unavoidable. A lot of people are giving away those things. In fact, it has started now that Christmas vacation is just a week away, but that's okay. Going to a dentist is very expensive, and the worst thing you can do right now is to spend something when it can be prevented before it happens. I am his dentist; I make sure to brush his teeth after eating chocolates, and explain to him the importance of brushing one's teeth. I am also his teacher. I started reading him books when he was only two weeks old. I started to worry when he was still not talking at the age of 16 months. I thought that he did not learn anything about numbers, alphabet, shapes, and colors; but when he started to talk, boom! He remembers everything taught and read to him. He was 2 years old when he told me the difference between a frog and toad. This morning he was trying to explain to me how medicine works inside the body and how it heals him and all. When I got sick one time, he prayed for me and told me that Jesus heals me.
This is Everett Scott. He is now 2 years and 4 months old. This little boy has his daddy's personality, quiet, very reserved, and ....very clumsy(sorry Dad). He broke his collarbone when he was born. I had to come home the next day after I delivered him so I could take care of him myself. I felt so bad for him. I had to wrap his right arm around his body so he could not move it. The doctor said that it takes 6 weeks to heal the bone. Giving him a bath was not easy, and it hurt him when he hiccuped. I had to give him tylenol the first 2 weeks of his life. When he was 3 months old, he got a bad case of eczema. He just kept crying and crying. We finally took him to the doctor and confirmed that it was eczema. It's an itchy skin problem. His first birthday was not a nice one. He fell from his high chair. It was a bad fall; I had to call 911. They took x-rays that day, and praise the Lord, no broken bones. It was 4 o'clock when we got home from the doctor's office and called our friends to let them know that his birthday celebration was not canceled. Everett loves books; he would sleep with them and be awakened crying because sleeping in his bed is not very comfortable anymore with lots of books in there with him. When we put him down at night, we check on him before going to bed to make sure that his bed is empty of books.

Beautiful Lilies, this reminds me of the economy today and what Jesus said about "worries" in times of crisis. My husband and I were talking last night about how bad the economy today is. Many big stores were shut down, and people lost their jobs, being laid off, salaries decreased etc. Thinking about the economy today frightens everybody. Who is affected the most by the failing economy? I think those people who have a high cost of living, those people whose faith and trust is in their pocket/job are most affected. I looked at my husband and said that we're not affected. We are still spending the same amount on groceries, things like clothing and toys for the boys and traveling. We try not to use credit cards. As my husband says, they are a "recipe for disaster." I asked my husband if we should be worried, and he said no. Jesus said in Matthew 6:25-34 "DEFINITELY NO! Don't worry about the food or drink you need to live, or about the clothes you need for your body. Life is more than food and the body is more than clothes. Look at the birds in the air. They don't plant or harvest or store food in the barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. And you know that you are worth much more than the birds. You can not add any time to your life by worrying about it. And why do you worry about clothes? look at how the lilies in the field grow. They don't worry about clothes for themselves. But I tell you that even Solomon with his riches was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers. God clothe the grass in the field, which is alive today but tomorrow is thrown into the fire. So you can be even more sure that GOD will cloth you. Don't have so little faith! Don't worry and say "What will we eat or drink? or " what will we wear?". the people who don't know GOD keep trying to get these things and your Father in heaven knows you need them. The thing you should want most is God's kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other things you need will be given to you. So don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I love Christmas trees, Christmas lights, Christmas songs and carols, Christmas decorations, receiving and giving gifts, enjoy watching plays at the church, celebrations, parties and everything! The whole thing about Christmas fascinates me. When I was a little girl, thinking about Christmas always made me excited, specially when the month of December is getting closer. I am sure that a lot of you feel the same way. The center of all of these is JESUS our Savior, He is also our redeemer, our Councilor, our Healer, our Provider, our Strength, the source of our joy, peace and satisfaction, the King of Kings and Lord of lords, the GREAT I Am! and He lives forever! When you think and remember JESUS this season, the celebration is more profound and meaningful. I started to write lists of things I wanted to have this Christmas, and they are just lists. I enjoy writing them even if I knew in my heart I could not possibly get everything in the lists. As my husband says, " We can't have everything." That is really true, and it makes life more interesting that way. It makes me feel more content with what I have, and I thank the Lord and appreciate the Lord's blessings more. Last year our tree was a fake one. My husband disliked it so much. He has always wanted to have the real one, and yes, you can't beat the real tree. The smell of the pine Christmas tree is just refreshing. A lady, whose name is Mrs. Sonoko Manungas, such a sweet and very generous lady, (she is like a grandma to my kids), gave us a fake tree, and I thought having a fake tree was practical. I just put it up and and put it away when the season was over, no fuss and bother compared to the real tree when I have to make sure that there's enough water in the vase otherwise it's going to die on me. Theneedles fall out, and yes, we have to throw it and the money away afterward. Anyhow, my husband said to me firmly that we were going to have a real one this year. I said to him that if he can find $15 worth of tree, go ahead; but we were not able to find one that cheap and finally decided to buy whatever the priced was, and we found our tree. Matthew said, "We found the perfect thing." We sure did! The tree is standing proudly in our living room decorated with all the ornaments that I can find in the basement and we covered it with lights. My boys love it. I would say that we are happy with our Christmas tree. I am hoping that we are going to have a white Christmas this year. Two years ago we had a very warm Christmas. I was so disappointed as was everybody else. This year we started with a cold front, so hopefully we get lots of snow before the season is over. We love to play in the snow. We sled on the hill and make lots of snowmen in the yard. It's fun and very enjoyable! I always make hot chocolate afterward. White Christmas is beautiful!
