That is pretty awesome. Is that a common occurrence?

My son and husband went to Chincoteague and said they saw so many horses -- but the next day, when they took ME, no horses.

Lots of mosquitos, just no horses. :-(

Would love to go there to see the wild horses. Is it a place where you need to camp out, ie. no motels nearby? On Assateque Island, what month is a good time to go without mosquitoes? Had terrible bites on both legs from beach on Sanibel island in the evening in Florida.

Bryan and Lori, The horses at Assateague are a relatively common sight although one can go a couple of days at a time and not see them. Usually they are around though. Thanks for visiting and leaving a comments.

Bohol Today and Anonymouse please visit this website http://www.assateagueisland.com/.
They have motels/hotels nearby. Its one of familys favorite place to camp. You can do a lot of things; biking, swimming, tanning :), fishing, crabbing and there are the ponies and deer to enjoy and lot more. And its cheap too! Assateage is in Maryland.
