Sick

I had a bad case of sinusitis that lasted 5 days in pure pain and agony. Hubby had to take me to the doctor two times in four days. I made an appointment with EN&T specialist this month; I am praying and hoping that this will take care of the problem. Last Wednesday we decided to visit family in Pennsylvania. We stayed in Lancaster for two nights and enjoyed meals at Yoders and Shady Maple restaurants, both all-you-can-eat buffets. It was really a big treat for me because, of course, I did not have to prepare a meal for my boys, and I just enjoyed our time with family. I noticed that the Amish Country is more and more becoming like a city. We always enjoy driving around and admiring their farms. Businesses and buildings are rising, and I can see that the country is becoming more populated. I wonder what they think about it. They are so different from us, and I am sure that they wanted to remain separated from the worldly living(as they put it). I never once have seen an Amish person smile, and that is something I don't understand. For me, I always see God's glory in a person's face when he/shes smiles.

I'm glad to read that you are feeling better now. Severe sinusitis is really hard to deal with, especially when you have little kids who need your constant attention. I was going through this several month ago. Thank God, the medical treatment worked and I didn't have to go into surgery. I hope you will get back in shape very soon. Have a great week, Tess :)

You are right about that Rosidah. It started with sneezing and then fatigue; I was dragging myself to stay alert for my boys but it was really difficult; sinusitis is a pain. Thank you Rosidah. You are a blessing.

Did the doc suggest warm compresses as that is what I have to do when I get them. They are so painful and then the pain makes you sick to your stomach..Awful..I hope your ENT appointment is soon....Michelle

Sinus infections can be painful and drag on without the proper treatment. Hope the ENT doc gets you well.

My head was also full of mucus according to the x-ray. That's what caused the severe pain and headache. I had swollen polyps as big as my own thumbs, blocking all the air way of my nose and causing me very hard to breath. Not being aware of my sinusitis made me very scared at that time. But yes, after being diagnosed the antibiotics helped me a lot :). I also drank some own made ginger tea. My left nose still hurts a little from time to time when I get to much dust in it, but other than that my polyps are doing fine. Thank you for your prayer. Bless you too :). I hope the medical treatment will also work for you.

Hi Rosidah,
So sorry you were feeling bad! I recently got my spine checked and found out that I had a twisted pelvis/neck and 2 S curves! I have been having migraine headaches for years and never knew why, thought it was sinusitis? Went to all the Drs. MRI etc. but nothing found. I started out going 3 times a week and now I feel great (tapering off now to 1)! Your nerves have a memory and will align to whatever the spine compensates for, it affects everything, sinuses, ears, eyes, thyroid etc....realign and give new memory and everything becomes normal again. I had never been to one before....but now I feel great. If your spine is out of whack, everything else is affected even sinuses. I had numbness on left hand and legs when laying down that's getting better too. Here's two books they gave me to read: Chiropractic First, Terry A. Rondberg, D.C. & Adjusting to a Higher Quality of Life Chiropractic Works, Timothy J. Feuling. Just food for thought? Glad you had a nice weekend in Lancaster, I lived there for awhile! Luanne
