Hubby List

This is really interesting. Thanks Aisha for sharing and tagging me.

Can you remember the first date you met your hubby?
When was that?
First week in April (Holy week -2003)
First impression:
The most handsome man I've ever seen.
Were you friends before he became your bf?
Yes! definitely (we're still the best friends ever)
What was the sweetest thing he did for you?
Flying halfway across the world to meet me.
What are the things about him that you are thankful for?
Everything! for being so responsible, for being GOD-fearing, for loving me unconditionally, accepting my faults, weakness, and imperfections (I have lots of those). He makes me feel like the most beautiful, wonderful and amazing creation the Lord ever made. He is always there to listen and to talk to; his words and deeds encourage me. I was amazed last night when we were watching the NBC dateline interview of Rick Warren; I was so struck by the fact that Rick Warren's reasoning and principles were exactly like my husband's. I could not contain my emotion; I was just staring at my husband sitting in his recliner and just said to myself, " I married the most wonderful man", I was humbled and feel so blessed. Truly having him made me thank the Lord for making me, me.

Now the rules are simple.
1. Pick your sweetest picture when you were still friends and post it on top of the questions and answers.
2. Another picture now that you are together post it after the questions.
3. Share to how many friends you like.
4. Enjoy doing it c:
5. Let your hubby read it too

Now I am tagging Susan, Divine, and Denise. Just follow the instructions.

Logan is a 13 year-old boy who lives on a ranch in a very small town in Nebraska. Logan listens to Christian Radio station 89.3FM KSBJ which broadcasts from Houston, TX. Logan called the radio station distraught because he had to take down a calf . His words have wisdom beyond his years.Since airing the audio of the phone call and now the making of the video clip, it has taken on a life of its own. People are forwarding it all over the world. We encourage you to share the love of Christ with anyone you can. Click this link to listen to it.

12 hours on the road

It was 4:45 a.m., July 26, 2009, in the morning when I woke up. It was so quiet in the house, and it was still dark outside. My husband was still sleeping quietly beside me in bed, and I was sure he was not ready to get up just yet. He had a long day, and we went to bed late that night. If this were an ordinary day, I wouldn't be up this early, but we were going to visit close family friends in Indiana. We were going to be on the road for quite awhile. My son Matt was so excited about this trip. Both he and Everett love the farm, like to watch the cows being milked and enjoy getting a ride on the skidloader, wagon and tractor. I was also very excited to see Lucy and Elsie Weaver again, and Hubby needed this vacation too to relax a little bit before going back to school. It was 5:20 when we woke up the boys, put them to the potty, changed their clothes and finally put them in their carseats. I could see Matt's excitement while buckling him up although Everett definitely did not care as he was still sleepy. By 5:30 a.m. we were on the road. We were all quiet the first two hours of the drive. Pretty soon Everett closed his eyes and was sound asleep while Matt was hamming and playing with his teddy bear. At 8 o'clock we stopped for fast food just outside Maryland to get a bite to eat and some coffee for Hubby. He surely needed something to perk him up. It was around 11 o'clock when Hubby told me that we were halfway there. I was so pleased. We had some snacks for lunch, and we only stopped when we needed to use the bathroom and to get more coffee. Matt did not take a nap until it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon, just an hour to Goshen, Indiana. We passed West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. We finally got to our destination at 5 o'clock in the afternoon; everybody was ready to stretch out. My boys immediately jumped out of the car and went to see the cows. It was a long drive but we were happy to have arrived safely.

Matt and his Daddy

Father and son. These two look alike, sometimes think and act alike. They both love sports and books and both are very fond of me :) I hope and pray that my little guy would be the man that his daddy wants him to be and become, and that is to love and serve the Lord with all of his heart.

My sons prayer and Psalm 23:1-6

Hubby introduced Psalm 23:1-6 to him when he turn 4 years old last October 31,2008. Since then he recites it everynight before he goes to sleep.
